Digital Books & Audiobooks
Downloading and reading digital books is very easy on tablets and smartphones using the OverDrive app from your device's app store, but you can also use your computer and most dedicated eReaders (Kobo, etc). Titles automatically return when due, and there are no late fees! An active SD&G County Library membership card is needed to access the digital collections.

Please note that while we have a wide range of best-sellers, independent titles, and non-fiction books in our digital catalogue, there are many titles that we cannot obtain digitally. Many publishers do not offer digital formats to public libraries, and others impose heavy licensing restrictions. We do our best to offer a balanced collection of eBooks and eAudiobooks, but some titles may need to be enjoyed in physical formats only.
