The 2023 Scotiabank Giller Prize jury announced the shortlist on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The five titles were chosen from a longlist of 12 books announced on September 6, 2023. One hundred and forty-five titles were submitted from publishers across the country. The Winner will be announced on November 13, 2023.
