Looking for local solar eclipse information?
Although the SDG Library isn't hosting solar eclipse celebrations or selling glasses, we're encouraging you to be curious and learn more about this once-in-a-lifetime event.
For those interested, SDG Counties website is acting as a one-stop shop for local information. On this website, you can find information about local viewing events, viewing safety, and more.
The City of Cornwall also has information on its website, including locations where solar eclipse glasses are sold in Cornwall, which include the:
- Aquatic Centre
- Benson Centre
- Visitor Information Centre (open April 8th only)
Check out their website to learn how to host a solar eclipse party at home.
Finally, for those interested in learning more about safety, the Eastern Ontario Health Unit has put together information for the public.
We hope this list of resources provides you a starting point to get the most out of April 8th!
