The SDG Library has a number of "Museum Passes" that provide free general admission to museums, parks, and other sites of interest in the SDG and Ottawa area. Browse our passes below.

Use this pass at any provincial park within Ontario to cover the base admission price for one vehicle permit and all occupants within, excluding buses. |

This pass provides regular free admission for a family of 6 (max. of 2 adults and 4 children) to: Canada Agriculture and Food Museum, Canadian Aviation and Space Museum and the Canada Science and Technology Museum |

How it works
Determine which pass you would like to borrow. You can place a hold through the library catalogue or contact your local library branch to have staff place a hold on your behalf. Because we receive a limited number of passes from partner organizations and the demand for passes is so high we cannot guarantee that a pass will arrive for a specific date. Once the pass arrives at your preferred pickup location you will be notified and will have five (5) days to pick it up. All passes have a loan period of seven (7) days.
Before you go, review the visiting hours, information and requirements for the place you wish to visit. The visitor experience at certain sites may be different than it was before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Museum Passes from the Library are valid for general admission only. Special exhibitions or events may require additional admission fees.
