Library Support to Book or Register for COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment

SDG Library to provide support to residents wanting to book or register for a COVID-19 vaccine appointment

For Immediate Release
April 13, 2021

THE COUNTIES, Ontario – Individuals seeking to complete online booking or registration for COVID-19 vaccine clinics in our region will now be able to access help from SDG Library staff and resources.

The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry is providing aid to individuals who do not have access to the Internet, and others who may need help navigating the appointment and registration process, by offering support services at five Library branches in SDG.

Library staff will be trained to support or complete vaccine booking or registration for people at Alexandria, Finch, Ingleside, Morrisburg, and Winchester branches of the Library during regular business hours.

The public is encouraged to call the branch to book an appointment. Library staff will advise individuals on what they need to bring to complete the booking or registration.

COVID-19 safety protocols, including the use of masks and physical distancing, will be part of every appointment with Library staff.
