FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March Break @ the SDG Library
March 9, 2020
Looking for something to do with the kids this March Break? The SDG Library has you covered with free, family-friendly programs offered at all 15 branches!
We start the week off with a special ‘Mad Science – Up, Up, and Away!’ program at our Alexandria Branch. This bilingual program introduces children to the principles of air and pressure using hands-on and entertaining experiments. Registration is required for this program.
Throughout the rest of the week, programs vary from game days to space explorations to robotics adventures – there’s something for every interest.
“Once again, Library staff have put together some really fun and unique activities to make the Library your go-to place over March Break” said Susan Wallwork, Communications & Marketing Librarian. “Plus, we’ve got musical instruments (with books on how to play them) and our popular museum passes that you can borrow. Whether you come to participate in a program or are looking for something to take home, the Library is here for you.”
Some programs have specific start times, while others are self-directed during open hours. It’s a good idea to contact the specific branch or check out our listings online. A complete list of programs can be found on the Library’s website at www.sdglibrary.ca/connect-create-and-explore-us.
This March Break, come Connect, Create and Explore with us! For more information or to register for the Mad Science program, contact Susan Wallwork at firstname.lastname@example.org or (613) 936-8777 ext. 226.
