FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“Register for SD&G County Library Membership Online”
Jan 3, 2018
When running a library system over a large geographic area such as SD&G, accessibility to library services can be challenging for many members of the community. Accessibility can be hindered by health issues, access to a transportation, hectic schedules, or bad weather to name a few. In an effort to accommodate and overcome accessibility barriers, the SD&G County Library now offers online library membership registration. Simply visit www.sdglibrary.ca/apply, and with a few clicks, you can become a SD&G County Library member. With your SD&G County Library card, you not only have access to physical books and DVDs, but also, over 8000 eBooks, 7000 eNewspapers, and 40 eMagazines. You can engage in continuing education with online instructional programs such as ArtistsWorks and Lynda.com.
“We want our community to know the Library exists beyond the bricks and mortar of its buildings” states Nicholas Seguin, Communication and Marketing Coordinator. “We have modern services you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home, local coffee shop or beyond. Online registration is an exciting new way to include those who physically can’t make it into a branch.”
To learn more or to become a member today visit www.sdglibrary.ca/apply.
