2016 is here and staff at the SD&G County Library are looking forward to another exciting year providing library services to SDG residents. And we’re getting started right away by introducing the newest “member” of our Library family – the Ultimaker2!
Beginning this January, County residents will be able to explore the world of 3-D printing by visiting our Morrisburg Branch, where we will be housing the new printer. The Ultimaker2 makes 3-D printing easy and accessible to all – all you need is your imagination, a little creativity and we’ll help you with the rest.
So, as you’re making plans this winter, add to the list the chance to bring out your inner techie and join the Library for one of our 3-D printer demos or contact us to find out how you can print your own project. The more you explore, the more you’ll discover – the opportunities are endless.
The addition of the Ultimaker2 is one more way that the Library is striving to foster innovation in SDG. Join us in 2016 to discover new and old library activities to inspire and encourage the inventor in you! And don’t forget, our latest issue of the Navigator program guide is now available at branches and online.
