Forest of Reading - Red Maple Award

Fiction | Ages 12-14 | Grades 7-8

Join the Red Maple program and explore ten different worlds. The Red Maple program introduces readers to different genres and writing styles, bringing to life the experiences and trials faced by different characters.  

Participating is easy! Simply register for the Red Maple program and start reading any of the fiction titles on the list! Most of the titles are available in print or digital format. In addition, we'll send you a Red Maple reading kit filled with fun activities to take part in as you read each of the books. For every book you read and activity you complete, you'll be eligible to enter a ballot to win our Red Maple prize. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other readers through two virtual meet ups, one in March and one in April. And that's all it takes! 

Important Information
The program runs March until April. Voting for your favourite title/author will take place in April.
